1) NUD Express run daily between Sani Lodge and Durban via Merrivale (Baz Bus pickup/dropoff point) and Pietermaritzburg. It leaves Sani Lodge in the morning and leaves Durban for the return journey in the afternoon.

2) Underberg Metered Taxi Association: run any time of any day. Their rates are per trip, and their vehicles can carry 1 – 4 passengers. If there are passengers on trips both ways, they will offer a discounted price.

3) Minibus taxis: Operate daily. Go when they are full. Cost around R65 between Underberg and Pietermaritzburg and R20 between Sani Lodge and Underberg.
